Flattening Test |

In the flattening test, the steel pipe is compressed to a specified extent.The welded part of a qualified product should be without any cracking as shown in the figure. The steel pipe is tightly compressed and the welded portion is not broken. |

Flaring Test |

The minimum expansion of the outside diameter should be 20%with no cracking. |

Reverse Flattening Test |

 |
As shown in the figure, the pipe is unfolded into a plate and no evidence of cracking should be found. |

Flange Test |

 |
As shown in the figure.when the pipe end is pressed to form an edge, the welded portion should not show any cracking. |

Reverse-Bend Test |
|
|
 |
The welded part is taken as a central line and the unfolded steel pipe is bent back and forth along it twice and there should not be any cracking. |
